Attention Senior Citizens, Disabled Persons and War Veterans:
You may be eligible for a Property Tax Deduction of
$250.00 per year.

SALE OF PROPERTY FOR NONPAYMENT OF MUNICIPAL CHARGES
The annual Tax Sale for the sale of property for nonpayment of municipal charges will be held in June 2010.
Any unpaid municipal charge from the year 2009 will be subject to tax sale. To avoid being sold at tax sale, please bring
your accounts current. Please contact the Tax Department at (973) 398-6832, Ext. 13 or 14 for amounts due.
SOLID WASTE/GARBAGE COLLECTION INFORMATION
Please note: garbage pick-up time schedules can change without notice due to holidays, weather or other events, therefore, on any given pick-up day, items for disposal must be at curbside by 5am of the pick-up day.
Every Monday:

Regular Garbage (maximum 3 pails at curbside - 32 gallon receptacles, maximum weight: 50lbs. per pail) Construction Debris One container of construction debris can be placed at curbside on any Monday; this container shall be counted as one of the three containers allowed. Please refer to calendar for more information. |

Every Wednesday:

White Metal (appointment necessary)– large appliances, washer, dryer, stove, hot water heater, metal swing sets, refrigerators with door removed; refrigerators and air conditioners must have a certification sticker for freon removal (NJ State Law Requirement), lawn mowers with oil and gasoline removed, etc. Please call the Utility Department, (973) 398-6832 Ext. 14 by Noon on Tuesday for white metal pick-up. | |

Vegetative Waste-LEAVES & GRASS ONLY - NO PLASTIC BAGS Vegetative Waste may be in a trashcan or container, or biodegradable paper bags (required by the Morris County Transfer Station). Paper bags may be purchased at Home Depot, Shop-Rite, etc. See Borough Newsletter/Calendar for beginning and end dates. Please have items at curbside the evening prior to the scheduled pick-up day. |

Every Friday:

Recyclable Waste NO PLASTIC BAGS Newspaper, Cardboard and Junk Mail: Newspaper may be tied in bundles or untied in brown paper bags or placed in container/can with junk mail. Cardboard must be flattened. Alternating Fridays-see Newsletter/Calendar for dates. |
